Any owners with Smoky Granite sporting this? Thinking of getting one, wasn't sure how black would look on it or if I should just go w/ the matching color.

I would definitely go with a matching color on a vehicle that is either not white or black. On my vehicle, the black sharkfin works because it contrasts well with the pearl white, and shifts a lot of attention to the windows as well too (which are black, especially with tint.)

Does the 19's affect gas mileage? I mean this is a hybrid and not a sports car by any means....

Looking to get similar wheels but going for top of the line BBS wheels instead in 18's.

The sharkfin is a neat idea, never even thought to upgrade that - I like your choice of black instead of white and I agree it does look sharp!

I was thinking doing the entire roof in CF material like my old IS-F

I think contrasting color works on silver too or any other color as long as you have matching accents

So am I right to assume this installation DOES NOT require you to remove the stock base? I didn't see you mention anything about taking the headliner out....

Nope. You don't have to remove the stock base. It covers it.

Matt,

Quick question, I know you are going for the JDM OEM look.

Why don't you get the OEM JDM CT200H Antenna??

I looked and it is not very expensive.

BTW, about the inner tail light.

I looked into the part number and the JDM CT200h share the same part number that the US CT200h has.

I think they use the same tail light.

let me know if you have other thought.

Well, I wasn't aware of the antenna at the time before i installed the BeatSonic one. I also didn't want to take apart my headliner and now that there are hundreds of Swarovski Crystals on my current shark fin, I don't feel like taking it off now. Took too long to mod the current shark fin antenna.

The JDM tail lamps have LEDs in both the inner and outer ones. How can I make that happen on my vehicle?

If you have an exact part number, I might be able to help.

Otherwise, I don't think we should risk ordering the same part number.

Does the sharkfin also work for satellite radio?

It hasn't affected my satellite radio reception. I'm not sure if our satellite radio is routed through that antenna.
