TSW Nurburgring Wheel Pics
Finally got around to taking some pics. Specs are 18" TSW Nurburgring Rotary Forged Gunmetal Wheels (+45 offset) with 225/40/18 Continental ExtremeContact DWS Tires.

Looks nice thanks for posting. I like seeing the offset also. I like how the front sits with 45 but I'd like to see the rear out some more, maybe 35. I want to go with 18's since I drive alot and don't want dented wheels with 19's.

Wheels are 18 lbs, tires are the same weight as the 17" Michelin's that came with the car, so it's a 6 lb. weight savings per corner.
I'm going to do some math to see where the real world mileage is now that I have the 18's on. Here's my thinking...the wider tire adds some additional friction as well as normal tires (non-green or non-low rolling resistance), however, my tire outer diameter is bigger than the 17's, so my traveled distance is slighly further than stock, throwing the speedo & odometer off slightly (to my advantage).

Not that bad (when compared to already being lowered). The lowering of the car is what changed the ride the most. While the profile is less, it's not by much (0.7 cm of less rubber on the sidewall). The car is MUCH more planted now and feels more solid...taking corners now is night & day with a lowered setup and with wider tires.

Jimmy,
Great choice on the wheels. Those wheels happen to be my choice as well but I will be getting the bronze ones to go with my Fire Agate Pearl ct200h. I will probably go with the 17inch version and use the same stock tires. I don't want to sacrifice the ride or add noise.
I was wondering if you could give some advice about how you had the Tire Pressure Monitoring System reinstalled into the new wheels. I am new to cars with this feature and I was wondering what you did.
Thanks.

My last car I bought my wheels online and shipped my TMPS out to them in advance of them mounting them. Cost me more to do that as I had to un-install them from the OEM wheels & then have them re-mounted & balanced.

That looks great. Mesh wheels are a timeless look on any car.
