Changing High Beam Bulbs with LED
I'm trying to find outn a H9 alogen Bulb replacement for my new CT200h since I don't like the yellow light of the original high beam alogen bulbs..
I found these on the web:
http://www.dragtimes.com/parts/2PC-W...614210818.html
Somebody knows if these are ok for ct200h?

I used the PIAA Super Whites. I prefer PIAA over the others as while they cost a little more they last longer.
Although I would be very interested in these if they matched the output and color.

"Don't have the pics for those but the LED bulbs are a little dimmer than the original halogen bulbs."
I want brighter then the original.

I am pretty sure LxTxNx only installed the low beams with HID He also installed the Sylvania Ultra white halogen fogs. (LOL they look yellow compared to either 5000K or 6000K HIDs )
I am still having problems with my driver's side HID (low beams). Even though lifetime warranty you have to package and pay all shipping and be without light until they send replacement. Toying with idea of buying a second set? And that is a pretty suckie alternative.
Take Care fellow CTers

I find it hard to believe that an LED bulb could possibly put out the same amount of light (lumens) that the stock high beam is capable of. The color of the light will seem "brighter" but I highly doubt it will illuminate as well. When you're in a situation where you need to use your high beams (country driving where there are no street lamps) you want to be able to see far into the distance and side to side to watch for animals or other things on the road.
I'd need substantial proof that your LEDs are powerful enough to replace high beams and then I'd expect to pay double what an HID kit would cost.
The LS600hL uses three very high quality LEDs on EACH SIDE to replace just the low beam lights.

The LED we have or everyone else has will not be bright enough for street use. unless you use the LED that audi R8 uses. but those LED will cost you an arm or a leg. because those technology is not out for the market yet.
