Default Road Magnet Lowered Springs

Hey Guys,

This is my first post on Club Lexus and looking forward to see what everyone is doing with their CT's. As this post suggests, lowered springs are the way to go on this vehicle.

I have been working with Road Magnet on getting springs for the CT and they have been great to work with. A couple months ago, they sent me a set of test springs to try out and after installing them the vehicle looks great and the ride is unbelievable. I was expecting the ride to be a lot stiffer, but it is not at all. Road Magnet has been able to tune these springs to provide better performance without sacrifacing the road quality and the CT looks so much better with the 1.25" drop on the front and 1.75" drop in the rear. Road Magnet is now selling these springs on their website and for a small price you can order these too. If you have any questions about my CT, just let me know.

Here are a couple pictures of the CT with Road Magnet Springs:

Definitely looks nice - I like the TSW wheels too on both vehicles. I hope to have mine on sometime next week. Right now the peak of each fender is 26.5" front and 26" rear (stock tires) - I was told that the data on their web site is reversed and the front drop is .5" more than the rear in order to even the wheel well gap. Based on the photos you posted - it looks like the fender heights are very close to even.

Jedi,

If you are in Orange County, CA, I can meet up with you somewhere and let you drive the CT to see what you think of the ride quality. I will say I was also worried about the ride quality, but after installing them all my worries were washed away. Road Magnet has provided an upgraded spring without reducing the ride quality. A truly unbelievable spring.

Let me know if you are in the area and I'll let you try mine.

As for the wheels, I have TSW Nurburgring 19 x 8 on it at this time. I couldn't see the pictures of yours on CT200hforum, maybe cause I am not signed up there yet.

Wow charging, if you're so confident in the ride quality that you'd let me drive it I'll prob pick these up. It's not like they're coilovers or something overly expensive anyways. I'll likely order within the next week.

Sure do!

1) What are the tire size/specs?

2) What kind of mileage are you getting now, compared to when you were sporting stock wheels?

Thanks,

Jim

For those that have swapped out the springs,do the tires ever hit the fender liner at anytime?

I'd like to see some pics with owners with stock size.

Never thought the CT could look so nice with a modest wheel and spring upgrade. I think its a very appealing car to mod, so I believe there will be more in the near future.

Those are forthcoming. A couple of us have these on order or in our hands & will be installed shortly.

I highly doubt the stock tires would ever hit the fender liner. The drop won't be as severe as shown in the pics above, since those 19's upsized the tire outer diameter by quite a bit (how much, we don't know, he hasn't posted the specs yet).
