Limited discounts ...
based on looking through those who posted, discounts from list appear to be limited -- until more CT's come over a lot less supply than is available for those who would want one. It's not that the car isn't fairly priced, it's just that everyone is always on the look out for the best deal --- I actually didn't mind the old Scion pricing model as you knew everyone was getting the same deal.
A local dealer has mentioned that if I ordered a CT today, more than likely it would be a 2012 by the time it landed in the U.S. so unless they raise prices (likely due to the terrible Yen/U.S. exchange rate) or change equip/options/colors (maybe not as likely) finding an '11 may or may not save you money or not --- such a quandry!
In my own case, the car the CT would replace is not on its last legs so we're not in a hurry but would not necessarily want to wait until the snow flies.
I may actually check into the Toyota employee discount plan and see how one gets affiliated -- in the past, many Japanese company suppliers offer each other groups of employees discounts so it sounds like its worth a shot.
Still need to decide that a CT is for me so will be perusing this forum and others to see those who have taken the plunge how they like their cars.
So a question related to those who have been able to get the Toyota employee discounts --- who all is included?

New Ct owner here
California, Los Angeles bought from El Monte Lexus
paid 32,088. out the door $34,780? (sorry I had to correct it, its 32k not 30)
got the graduate student program discount -$1000.
premium package w/o navi.
waited 2 months on the waitlist for a base ct but I went in yesterday and this onen was available so I just jumped on it.
Does anyone know if the interior seats are different in a base compared to a premium?

Msrp
Houston, TX
Purchased 08/06/2011 2011 CT
Mine was $38,116.39 out the door with tax, license, and documentation fees.
Premium, with premium sound, Nav, Z! preferred accessory -cargo net, cargo mat, wheel locks
MSRP - no loyalty discount because had already sold my other Lexus and didn't have current title/registration no student discount- even graduate school was eons ago!
Did get free extra year of ENFORM
No sure if this is standard or not- 2years, 25,000 miles free maintenance. Pick-up and delivery of car with loaner swapout for any service.

Anyways to get the graduate program you have to have graduated (from a 2 year or 4 yr college) within a year and have a job offer. So yeah it is not very easy to get but I do believe it is offered at all dealerships. I think this program expires early next year but im not 100% sure.
The loyalty program is way easier to get. If you have had a lexus before
