New CT!
Took the plunge today and got my 2012 CT200h Premium in tungsten pearl today. I really wanted the ecru nuluxe but settled for the black instead.
Included options were:
Illuminated door sills
Navigation package
Premium audio package w/ backup camera
Sticker price of 36,808 and I paid 34,100 plus fees, which included a $750 rebate for having a competitor vehicle in my household.

I've been working with a few dealers on pricing and basically it comes down to this:
Between invoice and MSRP, the cushion is $1500 which my guy told me is so little for them. He said more expensive cars like the LS had $14k in the old days and now even that margin has shrunk to about $8k.
He basically offered me a a few hundred over invoice and we get the $1000 grad discount. (you can't combine the Loyalty and Grad from he told me) Also the Conquest discount of $750 didn't qualify on the CT200h?
We're looking at the $35k MSRP car so essentially has F-sport but no NAVI package.
Price before taxes comes out to just around $32k? Sounds pretty good

So we went to the dealership in OC and told him the price I wanted to pay which was $1000 less than dealer invoice (34,500) and MSRP for the$ 36,509 2012 CT200H Premium navi, audio, accessory. He said that was not feasible but could possibly do a few hundred under invoice. Since I already knew someone got it for that price, I walked out and thanked them. I wasn't totally sold on the car so I didn't feel like I needed to bargain with them. I'm hoping this will help whoever is looking for a car, that you can get it for under invoice. I'll let you know if the dealership calls me back to sell the car.

We went there and they told us they would only give us a few hundred off invoice, I would ask for Dave if you want a nice guy. After we walked out they didnt call us back. We just purchased the car from Lexus of Cerritos. Ask for Sam and he will work with you if you want.
We had a friend who was an employee so we were able to get below employee price and get the $1000 recent grad.
Update 03/28/12: Dave from Tustin Lexus called me back today to see if I was still interested in the car. He was a day too late, but if anyone wants his contact information, PM me. He seems like he's willing to work with you.

Okay update – we plan to go to dealer next week but this is the best deal I got so far in the northwest:
$31,750 (Premium base car)
$1100 (Premium Audio)
$299 (Illuminated door sills)
$2445 (HDD Navi)
$263 (Cargo mat, Net, Locks, gloves)
$875 (Destination)
$36,732.00 MSRP car
$34,400.00 Discounted price before taxes, title, etc.
(Savings of $2332)
We preferred to get a car without NAVI but this dealer only has NAVI equipped cars. In compare Portland Lexus is only willing to go 2.5% off MSRP (they claim a one set price per dealer policy)

Yup, I have been trying to work with Lexus of Portland but their Max reduction was 2.5% based on their one clear price. Needless to say, I walked. It's just a rip off for me especially being a loyal Lexus customer. $900 off of a $36k car then paying for the doc and title fees, I will walk out paying sticker price. I wish them good luck.
