Interesting how the CT sketch is also blue like the advance LF-Sh picture.
Having seen the HS in person, I think the grille works with that design, but I am not sure how it will appear on others. There is use of chrome as part of the front fascia.

This is the question of the show IMO, how it looks there and the reception may be a factor in possibly bringing it to N. America.

Sketch looks good, it looks like some of the LF-A's styling cues will be found on future Lexus models, which is great. I hope the production car is not toned down too much from the concept.

In particular, the Canadian market is likely more closely aligned with the European market in terms of our like for smaller cars. A good looking small luxurious Lexus would do very very well here.

2009 Frankfurt Auto Show Preview: Lexus CT (300h) Hybrid
Lexus will unveil this new hybrid compact "baby Lexus" in Frankfurt
TOKYO — Lexus has released a teaser sketch of a new hybrid compact that will be officially unveiled next month at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show . Lexus released no details, but parent Toyota has trademarked the names CT 200h, CT 300h and CT 400h, at least one of which is expected to be used a future production version of the new hatchback.
A company statement said only that "the concept will demonstrate a mix of technical innovation and ground-breaking design that promises to raise the bar in the premium compact segment."
There has been much speculation in the European press about the baby Lexus, which appears to be targeted at such entry-luxury models as the BMW 1 Series and the Audi A3 and may share its underpinnings with the U.K.-built, Corolla-based Auris Hybrid that goes on sale next year in Europe.
So far, there has been no clue as to whether the CT might be sold in North America, where it likely would be positioned below the $32,000 IS 250 and the $35,000 HS 250h.
Inside Line says: Look for the baby Lexus to reach European dealers in late 2010, with a possible U.S. launch the following year. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent

To be honest, this is one Lexus that should be exclusive to Europe and maybe Japan. To many entry level 4 door cars in the U.S. market for Lexus. If they decide to go a class lower for the U.S. market then IMO it should be 2 or 3-door only.

It's interesting that we have a CTh debut coming up in September, which is likely the most affordable Lexus, followed a month later by the LF-A premiere, the most expensive Lexus ever!
