Steve,
Is modifying the JDM console our only option or is obtaining the Sport Design console at a reasonable price still a possibility?

Wink

I think I have found someone that can make the center piece. I'm checking on price and how many people might want it. This will all have to depend on Steve, like always

I'll let you know as soon as I do,

Steve,
New member here, but I would also love to get my hands on a blackwood set including the center console. If you have any available could you PM me the cost?

Thanks,

Joel

Hi Joel,

Glad your here!

I only have the JDM door inserts and shift **** here-$349.00, I'm waiting on the center console to see if we can modify it correctly to work, not sure on this. Also another member is working on the center console locally , this may be an easier solution.

I tried to get American Stitches to make a Blackwood steering wheel. I gave them my Black wood door piece for a month and they were not able to duplicate it close enough, so we just gave up. I think there is enough demand for the Blackwood that they may be willing to try matching our kits again.

They should also have the capability to make a blackwood conversion on our existing center console.

Steve, have you kept a count on how many are interested? How many potential steering wheel and console orders would it take to get these guys to try again?

Chaskim, you didn't get back to my PM. Are you still working this with who?

Steve, maybe someone of "your reputation" would be more influential in approaching American Stitches with pursuing this venture?

If someone wants to try it again with American Stitches, go for it.

I have photos of what they tried to do in my gallery. Close, but no cigar.
