We're proud to announce that we now have our own Carista-branded OBD adapter to offer! It works with both Android and iOS and is guaranteed to work with the Carista app. This is in response to the numerous cases where people have bought some generic ELM327 adapter on ebay or amazon, only to find out that it's fake/defective and doesn't support the ELM327 instruction set properly, causing Carista not to work with it.

The other advantage for iOS users is that this is a Bluetooth 4.0 LE device (instead of WiFi), which does NOT take up your WiFi/internet connection; i.e. you can still have internet connectivity while using this device, which makes stuff like fault code lookups and in-app purchases a much smoother experience.
