Not sure on this. I am unaware of a 'rippled' light but rather the standard light on the latest IS model. As for the bubbling, Lexus did release a TSB relating to this however we're seeing very few incidences of this - as is the case with most TSB's.

In order to resolve the "bubbling" problem with the new LED headlamps, Lexus added some ripples on top of the headlights which deflect the sun's rays and make them less prone to the bubbling.

I'd love to get more info on this since I got the crappy halogen headlights and even with a 6000K hid kit I can barely see, and does this discount only apply to the 2011 headlights or 08 also because i have the 08 IS350 that had AFS HID but after repairs money was a little short for the headlights
I doubt those are the rippled ones for some reason. I have ordered these months ago, and I still don't have problems with bubbling (I live in a sunny country) but then again, that's just my luck I guess.
I don't think I can live without them now, much better than the previous headlights.
Got it... had to be viewing facebook on a real computer and not my smartphone. Easy as pie once I made that shift. For the record... the sale/code still worked as I just placed an order for a fully loaded upgrade kit.
