I need some clarification, so how do you arm your vehicle since there are no buttons to lock ur doors and going through the owners manual it doesn't seem like there is any sort of autolock feature for the 2IS. Anyone care to explain? I'm really interested in purchasing one too but if I have to carry my key fob around just to lock my doors I really don't see the point.

I was curious - whats the actual size of these cards - height, width and depth.
Thanks!

In terms of width and depth, it's a little bigger than a credit card... it's roughly 3-4 times as thick as a credit card. Fits nicely in my wallet.
08Lexus250 - you use the buttons on the exterior door handle to lock the vehicle. I don't think I ever used the fob to lock/unlock anyway.

Yes, it sure does. Now here's one we just found out, the 2008 IS-F, it doesn't have a SMART card option. The 2008 IS-F has a lone key fob that only works on this model and year specifically and doesn't apply to anything else. So, for what we've research, there's nothing to offer for the 2008 IS-F, just the 2009 and new years.
If anyone has anything to comment to the contrary, I'd me delighted to hear!

Can anyone that actually has this SMART card share with the rest of us their personal experience with it?
Is the cost worth it if I don't otherwise need a new key?
Does this work accurately? Would any other cards in my wallet affect this one?
I'd love to hear from others...
