Our kit is ok without a relay but I have some customers install it anyway.
Adding on a relay will make sure the HID ballast will receive a constant 12V power.

We use to have 55w but stop decided to stop importing them due to we noticed brightness for 55w is about 15% brighter compared to 35W. Also, cost wise it's way more than 35W.

I placed my order May 5 and received the kit later that very week (May 8, I believe)!!! Very fast shipping!!!
Anyway, I got a chance to install my HID last night and it took longer to clean off my front upper frame rails than it did to really install the kit. Everything was plug-and-play and worked perfectly. The included 3M double-sided tape made affixing the ballasts very easy.
I'm very pleased with my kit - it looks great out of the 1999 projectors. For the price and the warranty period, it's tough to pass up. I paid ~$400 for an HID kit for my JZA80 a few years back, and even though it has a 5-year warranty, I don't think the added cost is justifiable.
