SL2Vi works with '03-'05 GS, it hasn't been tried on the '02..... So we don't know.

installed today, I have a question. what determines the mode or emulation that you use? So I have mine set to the CD Changer emulation setting. I have 06 GS430. With Navi and ML DVD. I was looking on your web site and I see different displays depending on the setting of emulation. Does only one setting work or can I change to get the other display set up?

'06 GS supports CD emulation only. Different displays that you have seen on our website are from different Nav Generations. For example 5th Gen Nav has a lot more functionality and uses CD-MP3 emulation, some older Lexus models support MD emulation.

But for your car, you do have it programmed correctly.

Will the SL2i-UP charge my iphone 3G AND ipod nano(1g)?

Do you need to be stationary to change playlists? Without nav hack?

Also does the song title still show without nav hack, while in motion?

SL2i-UP will charge all iPod models that SL2i-UP is compatible with, which is anything from 4th Gen iPod and up.

You can still change tracks, playlists and etc. and see titles on your screen while the car is in motion, the only functionality that goes away is LIST OF FILES and LIST OF FOLDERS.

didnt read through the whole thread... but is the adapter for the iphone 3g available yet for the sl2vi-p4? been wishing for this adapter since i got my vaistech this past summer
