To confirm neither side was working? Do you know if they were using a relay harness with the install? If neither side worked it could be a polarity issue.

They did try the relay harness but it didn't stay on, And both sides would turn but not stay on. I don't know what you mean by a polarity issue, I'm going to try one other shop where I got my previous HID installed and if they have a problem then idk.

(1) I noticed this was NOT one of our HID kits.
(2) H16 bulbs are low-wattage bulbs, and if the kit you have installed does not use low draw ballasts you may be overdrawing from the OE harness. I would contact the vendor you purchased the HID kit from for better assistance.

I sent you a PM but another question for anyone else.

I know there is a color difference between the Phillips 4300. But how does the 5k and the 6500 look? Is the 6500 a hint of blue like factor HID or is it more of a rice blue and not as bright? I had 6K on my Cobra and loved it, mostly white and a very very small hint of blue but it was with a different company.

4300K would be a warm white color and the Philips 4300K which does color shift to 4700K would have a little more white in it. 5000K would be a pure white color while 6000k and 6500K would be a "ccol" white color which has a tint of blue in it. Factory HID lights are 4300K.

Perfect!

I am also looking at a lens upgrade / swap if that will improve the light. Do you have one you sell or recommend? 99LX470

The goal here is to be able to see better in the rain at night, not looking for a bling factor.

Is the CL discount for hid kits no longer valid?
