Hi,
Both the Cougar and the GS use a 9006 bulb meaning that you would need to order 9006 Volt kits for both.
The best I can do for you if you wanted to get both kits is upgrade your shipping to air at no additional charge. There is only so much margin in this Volt kit as it is a high quality kit and our costs are significantly higher than many kits found on ebay for a similar price or slightly lower price. We really priced this kit aggressively right from the start.

Steve
I was trying to figure out the difference between the Volt kit and Xtreme kit and which is best, but I was confused because I only want HID fogs. You compared them and said they are both of good quality, but what about just the fogs? The cost difference isn't the issue, it's which is best for my year/make/model. I'm using Sylvania Silver Star (or Ultra Star) 9005/9006 for the headlights for 2-3 months and these are significantly brighter then the stock bulbs - and for the $50 I spent I'm gonna keep em a while...possibly only until I see these HID's in the fogs
The brighter the better for fogs, but I believe yellow is the best for year round fog and the inevitable snow here in NY State. Could I order a 6000K yellow Volt kit just for the fogs (like in the picture you posted 11/20 of that Acura RSX)? Xtreme Digital HID Conversion Kit or 6000K Volt HID Digital+ HID Kit, which is best for fogs? Is the Xtreme an easier install with out ballasts? They both come with bulbs, but are they both yellow?
They look sweet and I want 'em. Could I just follow this thread if you tell me they'll fit a 96 ES300 and I order them? http://www.clublexus.com/forums/show...light=volt+hid Thank you.

Hi Guys,
For now, the Volt kit is only available in 6000k. There are currently no plans to introduce any other color temperatures.
LW ES300 - If you are looking for a 3000k kit for the fogs I would suggest going with the Xtreme 3000k kit. From an installation standpoint, the Xtreme kit will take slightly longer as it comes with a relay harness. This harness will be plug+play and will ensure that the ballasts receive a constant 12V. I personally like the use of a relay harness.
From a quality standpoint, both kits are great. The difference in costs lies primarily in the difference of where the kits are made and the components used.
Both kits will literally be plug+play and will not require you to modify your vehicle in any way shape or form. There will be no wire cutting or splicing.
3000k is definitely the way to go for the fog lights if you want the most functional light output in foggy situations.
Take a look at these pictures of our 3000k Xtreme HID kit installed in the fogs and Xtreme 6500k kit installed in the lows:

What does this remark you made mean as it contradicts what you just told me?

Does "constant 12V" mean they can always be on by having their own on/off switch? Or still only be on with the low beams, not with the high beams? Is this what you are referring to one your site: Xtreme Digital HID Conversion Kits. I don't see Lexus in your "fog light" section.

You never said, will they fit to a 1996 Lexus ES300? Sorry for all the questions, but my car is older than most of the remarks, pics and questions others have made in this post and I want to do this the right way. Thanks

Hi,
Sorry about that. That was an error on my part. The Volt HID kits are only available in 6000k not 3000k.
Wire Harness Explanation - The wire harness that comes with the Xtreme kit will power the ballasts directly from the battery. All you will use your vehicle's OEM headlight harness for is simply to trigger the relay in our harness on/off. As a result, your lights will function like stock.
As per the ES300 - What type of bulb does your vehicle currently use for the fog lights?

No problem on the goof Steve. I suspect 6000k is better and brighter than 3000k (at least that's what I think ). The factory fog lights are H3 halogen. Does your HID kit come with yellow bulbs as shown in the pic you posted 11/20 of the Acura RSX?

And, I have to ask again, is the Volt HID kit better to buy with 6000k for fogs? Or does the Xtreme HID kit come in 6000K for fogs? The price difference is not an issue - I want what's best, mostly in fog & snow. Lemme know so I can place an order.

Steve - I see you haven't had a chance to read my last notes, when you do let me know about this. As I said, factory fogs are H3 halogen in a 96 ES300, but I don't see that choice on your buy page. Which would fit & can you provide a separate link to 6000K Volt HID Digital+ HID Kits for a 96 lexus Es300? I don't see this kit or Lexus while searching your site. Am I missing it somehow when looking? Thank you
