Hi,
You really cannot go wrong with either kit. It is a question of what your budget is like and whether you want a relay harness or not. If you do not want to spend $175 on an HID kit and do not want a relay harness I would suggest going with the Volt kit.
If you don't mind spending a little more money on a kit that comes with a relay harness and Japanese components then go for the Xtreme kit.
One way or another though, I will reiterate that from a quality standpoint you cannot go wrong with the Volt kit. We wouldn't put our name on it or stand behind the product if we felt that the product was not up to our standards.
The 01 GS uses a 9006 bulb for the low beams meaning that you would need to order a 9006 6500k HID conversion kit found on this page:
http://www.kbcarstuff.com/Xtreme_Dig...s_p/xt-65k.htm
You would need to select item number "XT-65K-9006"
Don't forget to use "CL" as the coupon code to save $25.

Hi Rich,
Steve did make a mistake... I apologize. The IS uses an h11 bulb for the low beams and a 9006 bulb for the fog lights. Sorry about that.
montclair - A popular upgrade has been to upgrade your fogs to HID to match your OEM HID low beams. I would be more than happy to give you a call to discuss your options.
teejnut - Unfortunately not. Send me a PM though with what you need and let me see if I can put together something for you.

More Kudos for XenonDepot! Love the 6500K kit in my Odyssey!
One note on the XenonDepot kits with relays/harness (I prefer these)...
On some Ford products this system is almost mandatory. A friend of mine has an 07 F-150 with an "off brand" HID kit (no relays) and has already blown two ballasts. The Ford trucks (and some car applications) flash their headlights when arming the security system... the momentary pulse to flash the stock headlights isn't long enough for the HIDs to power-up and ultimately can damage the ballasts. The kits with relays solve this...
Steve, time to order a kit for my MR2!

I just need to determine what housings I'm going to use...
The early MR2 uses 6054 square; I had Hella housings but the glass
is cracked on both. I'll probably just go back with new Hellas, H4 bi-xenon.
Guess that thread I started on OdyClub.com sort of blew-up.

I think I found the solution for my MR2:
I don't need a black housing, but they are pop-up lights, so rarely seen anyway.
Steve, your thoughts about bi-Xenon versus regular "one way" Xenons in these housings?
Now to find my credit card...
bob

Well there's basically three types of ballasts when it comes to HID's..it's digital, electronic and magnetic. Magnetic runs hotter and are heavier ballasts than the digitals. The main things about digital is that it lasts longer than the magnetic ones, they use less energy to produce more light output too and when the digital one is about to take a crap it won't try to keep the bulb running, it'll shut off the ballasts. There's a couple other things but either way, digital is better.
