In response to the shipping charges:
First off, the items shipped is an over sized item. It is 70x18x6
Second, we do not mark up the shipping costs. The shipping charges are a direct reflection of what FedEx charges us for shipping. The charge to your card will automatically be adjusted based on the charge from FedEx. If there is an adjustment made to your account, it will usually show up in about three days, however, the invoice will not reflect the discounted shipping charge, you will simply see a credit to your account.

Regan, I don't think anyone is suggesting that Sewell is marking up the shipping cost, it's just many are surprised about the cost itself. In my case IIRC, the cost of shipping for the front lip in the last group buy was around $30 to NorCal. This time it is $51. So I thought maybe the discounted shipping that was mentioned before wasn't applied here.
One more thing, as aznboi27 has mentioned above, I'm also confused why shipping to SoCal for jayy178's order is only $17.94 while for aznboi27 who is in Texas is $50+. Maybe FedEx screwed up?
In any case, I hope there will be an adjustment for shipping like you said.

i just mimicked doing the order again and this time the shipping cost went up to $44 for socal.
maybe it was a fluke?
