** Note ** Requires audio head unit to be satellite ready. Premimum Audio(JBL)has embedded XM and conflicts with the iPOD Interface. Some base grade audio are not satellite ready. Either iPOD or Sat Radio can be installed, not both.

It does work with the Iphone no problem
Should be fine with your options
Yeah, the Lexus note says that it will only work on cars without the Sat radio, but you should check with your local dealer just to make sure.

A got two questions , very interested in purchasing.
I have a 2006 IS with Mark Levinson and DVD
Do I have to make custom playlist for the interface to recognize my music?
Does it recognize podcasts or do I have to manually make a playlist for all my podcasts?

Its the kit, the picture is just what Lexus uses as a default picture for the item.
