I'm reading through the manual for the SL2i and have a couple of questions- (and I'm in no hurry so posting them here in case they help anyone else)
I have a 2008 IS350 with Mark Levinson but WITHOUT navigation.
1) It says max of 99 songs per playlist and a max of 99 playlists... that would mean (assuming an average of 4 megs per song) that the most music this could address is roughly 38-39 gigs.... Is that right? (My ipod holds 160 gigs, and over 100 of that is music). CD-MP3 mode would eliminate this issue as you can go to 999 per playlist, but your application guide says this is only for Nav units? Why? Non-nav units play mp3s as well.
2) In regard to supported units- the manual does not list the ipod classic as supported, though the web page says it is... which is correct?
