Each exhaust has thicker-than-competition sidewalls leading to a stronger construction without adding a significant amount of weight. Each exhaust system is engineered to sound like a symphony, at least to gear heads. ARK Performance mufflers have unique and signature cores redefining exhaust sound engineering. With their Helmholtz technology they are able to reduce in-cabin drone without sacrificing performance. The secret to every ARK Performance exhaust system is the craftmanship behind it. This intake system utilizes a pre-oiled, large, 5" tall conical 360 degree radial flow performance air filter with 5-layers of progressive finer mesh cotton media providing maximum airflow and performance. Sturdy 18 Gauge Powder-Coated One-Piece Heat Shield blocks performance-robbing engine heat. This heat shield requires no assembly and uses factory mounting locations for fast and easy installation. A 3" One-Piece Mandrel-Bent Wrinkle-Black Powder-Coated Intake Tube directs unrestricted airflow from the massive filter to the turbo for more horsepower and torque. The 3-angle adaptor is used to speed up the airflow after the air filter for improved performance and throttle response. Premium hardware and clamp are used to securely mount the high flow air filter and the intake tube.

K&N Typhoon Air Intake Kit Lexus RC 350 15-16 MSRP $195



Product Information
The K&N Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced by the K&N Typhoon air intake which is designed to dramatically reduce air flow restriction as it smoothes and straightens air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine' RPM range. The air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through the intake tube into the engine' throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube has an attractive silver powder-coat finish that's made to last and it accommodates the factory mass air sensor and crank case vent hose. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The tools needed are a couple of screwdrivers, pliers, a ratchet set and some wrenches. Some Typhoon air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal.
