Default RACE style Paddle Shifters?! (Pedals, Heel Mat)

Hey fellow F'rs!

This is board member, Joshhleee, now known as Meraki Autoworks (long story short). As a long time member and enthusiast, there are certain things I wish we had available in terms of aftermarket parts, and a lot of those things we got. One thing that I was always jealous that BMW M owners had was aftermarket paddle shifters. After a lot of time and research, I found the right company to pair with and decided to come out with some paddle shifters! Yet before I go through with everything, I want to hear from you guys in terms of length, design, feel, weight, etc..

As of right now, we are geared towards making the paddle shifter out of a solid block of aluminum, and having the option of billet holes or not, anodized brushed finish, and etc..

I attached some sample pictures of what I am talking about just so you can get an idea. The angle looks weird because I had to jam the paddle shifter in front of our OEM one. Give me your feedback, who would be interested in one and so forth!

Also, I know our F's come with nice pedals but the company I am working with has some very nice ones. For the dead pedal, we can make it so we can add the "F" logo. Something very simple, but it will look Amazing!

Also, another product is the heel mat. We can custom engrave anything you want onto the heel mat, such as RCF

Let me know what you guys think!

Here is the same idea but for the ISF, see what people are saying.

I'm in, but I much prefer the GTR style from the ISF thread.

Thinner and longer.

I do understand that the GTR has stationary paddles, unlike the dynamic paddles on the RCF

I think we are aiming for the GTR design.

I wish there was a way to make it feel more mechanical/heavier feeling if that makes sense

I don't care for the drilled hole look personally.

He is going to try and go more autotecknic'ish in design I would hope.

check out the link to the ISF thread; the long skinny shifters would be a great fit

But without the bright colors.

exactly, wish it took more effort to pull the trigger, like a breaking point/snap/feel (metal on metal feel)

for what reason? it is an electronic device, not a manual shifter.

The shifters in the RCF and ISF are very sturdy in comparison to most generic DSG or DCT type paddles that I've used.

To make it feel more manual rather than electronic. It's a personal preference. Like an smart throttle controler makes it feel more mechanical rather than drive by wire.

I really like that. I would even consider it in the orange, but I already have orange accents on my wheel and shift ****

I'd buy a set if they made them exactly like OEM (maybe slightly bigger perhaps) in carbon with a the symbols painted blue. All of these pics look to ricer for me (I'm not 19 anymore......I don't want gaudy, I want sophisticated)
