We can help customer to put the F emblem on our black carbon fiber trim. If you want to keep the F logo, get the trim upgrade too.

Ya what he said? I'd like to incorporate the F logo from the steering wheel as well, and is one of the reasons I haven't purchased your wheel yet.

Lou,
They've previously indicated in this thread that there is not enough room on the flat bottom part of the RCF wheel rim to incorporate it. I think what they are indicating is that it could be incorporated into silver trim of the bottom center spoke. However, I think folks want to see pics/examples.

Also, specific question for you. Any advice/recommendations on how to remove the F emblem from the stock wheel without damaging it or the leather on the existing wheel? Thanks.

Westley

^^^^It's glued in on the bottom side of the emblem. I just used a very small flat blade screw driver and wedged it in on the right side. Pushed a little bit, and it popped off. No damage to the leather of my old wheel.

Can you provide additional info on the trim upgrade. I have been corresponding with Matt and trying to work out the specifics and pricing on this.

Specifically:
1. Assurance that it would be a 2x2 twill weave that will match the direction/pattern of the oem trim (Have offered to provide a door trim panel at time of order for matching purposes
2. Any pictures of examples already completed?
3. Is there a core charge option available or does customer have to provide their own silver "Y" piece? Per the parts diagram this piece doesn't seem to be available to the consumer individually. It must be purchased in a unit with the steering wheel pod switches.
4. Assurances that additional thickness from adding carbon fiber to this piece will not render the horn inoperable.

Here is a pic of RC500's wheel (sorry for stealing), which is your wheel with the Grazio&Co "Y" carbon piece. I'm assuming your trim upgrade would look like this and you would embed the customer provided F emblem in the center of the flat space on the base of the "Y". This is what I am shooting for. Thanks.

Thanks for pictures. Wheel looks good. What car is that mounted in? It's not an RCF (or RC) as center console/dash is different. An IS maybe? Also, any responses to my post above? My be helpful to others in this sub-forum. Thanks.

Default Guess what

Let's guess what special steering wheel we are making for some RC F members.
We have taken the order to custom made a new style steering wheel. The answer will reveal several week later.

Feel free to throw your guessing here.

Integrated "F" emblem at the bottom of the wheel. And PLEASE use the OEM square buttons on the wheel, the circular ones are ugly IMO

I think if I guess, it would be cheating.
