On an unrelated note... if anyone with a 2nd gen IS350 is available for a tune/testing please send me a PM. You would need to be within driving distance of Eastern PA (we are about 45min from Philadelphia).

thanks!

Rafi

My neighbor has my old IS350 and could be interested in this.. He's somewhat of a lead foot (aren't we all), so I know he'd appreciate any extra power he can get from the V6.

I'll pass this along to him.

I'd suggest a 2UR-GSE swap!

In all seriousness, putting money into that engine for performance seems kind of pointless (no offence intended). However, I could be wrong since I don't frequent the 2IS/3IS forums. I'd suggest saving money for an upgrade to an IS350 if you want to improve performance & keep AWD.

Cool I'll keep a look out for this package. My F is my daily now. Not sure how I can mod it when I can't afford down time

Hey Rafi, i have a question. I just received the tuned ecu and it really RIPS! Mid and high range are a huge gain. I am wondering if I put race gas 100 octane, would that yield more power?

I have decatted stock manifolds and full custom exhaust. The gains are THERE. I only probably driven 20 miles and been pushing the car in 3rd to 6th gear. Every time I push the car, I really feel and believe the ECU is calibrating and the gains feel more and more stable. I will report back 50 miles later

Very nice idoke, my ECU is currently out for delivery and I'm super excited.

Any driveability issues? Any weird idle, shifting ect? All seem good?

Mine is sitting at home waiting for me to get off work to install it.

On an unrelated note, I just saw RR-Racing post on facebook that a rev limiter of 7200 or 7400 is now an option with the tune. That option is already listed on their ordering page on their website too.

I guess I will wait a few months for any added features and kinks to get ironed out and then send mine in again..

It should gain... but I would do a baseline dyno, then add the race gas, and do like 12-15 4th gear pulls to get the ECU to learn for higher ignition advance.
