Got delayed a bit, we'll be back on the dyno on Monday for final results. BTW, we get some questions about how we dyno the car and simulate warmer climates even though its cold outside... We exclusively use a DynoJet 424 all wheel drive Eddy current dyno at Fabspeed Motorsports. So not only does this dyno generate the most repeatable results, it is also the most sophisticated and expensive you can get (we are talking something like $80-$100g's for a setup like Fabspeeds)! In addition to that, Fabspeed's facility is large and climate controlled, so intake air temps are about 70-75F during our runs. We also simulate hot conditions by closing the hood, and intentionally induce intake temps of about 120-130F!

That said, here is a little acceleration run teaser of a 0-120mph acceleration run. With the increased rev limit, we figure about 65mph in 2nd gear, and 92mph in 3rd gear. The increased rev limit really suits the powerband of this engine and it pulls all the way to the 7000rpm redline with any drop-off, as you can see here... enjoy!:

Hey quick question for you guys. Where exactly is the ecu for our cars and how hard is it to remove and re install? Just figured I ask since I'll have to send out my ecu to you guys for the tune once it's available. Thanks

ECU is located in a box next to one of your fuse boxes. It is just to the right of the engine if you are standing next to the car. Very easy to remove, just need a 10mm socket (and hands). We will send out removal instructions with the tune.

Any way we could get a teaser dyno graph or something showing what kind of gains are had through 7000rpm?

We are finalizing the tune. A bit hampered by the weather because we conduct some of our tuning on the road. But we will head back to the dyno later today.

By the way... the IS350 we are working on now has a K&N intake and Megan exhaust, which we are not too crazy about... if anyone has a car with a stock airbox and with/without an exhaust, please PM us, pricing will be very good Looking for someone willing to drive to the Philly area.

thanks,

Rafi

Damn it, if only I wasn't all the way out in California... Is the intake and exhaust causing any issues? I'm getting the Joe Z and the Megan midpipe installed soon and already have an Axleback exhaust. Will this be a problem?

Got some final numbers.

My base line was 265, after tune I was pushing 279.
End results - +14whp and +14 torque

The pull from 60-110 is really noticeable.

They will be posting the dyno sheets later today.

Very impressed with the tune

Those are decent numbers. I just hope they price it below the IS-F's tune price. Did they to change the timing on the transmission?

Those numbers are better than TTFS' numbers, good to hear. But is this with the 7k redline? And did they play with the transmission?

My baseline was also 265. I think my last dyno with my PPE upgrades was close to 300.. I wonder what it would be with this tune?!?!
