Hi folks. I need to know if you know of a qualified Lexus shop other than the dealers for my 2006 SC. I need upper control arms, a rear axle shaft and a power steering vacuum valve. My dealer is competent but the car is getting old and I'd rather find a good independent shop. I know of a shop that does good work but they're not much less expensive then the dealer and is mainly a Mercedes shop. Almost everyone claims to be a Lexus shop but they are just ASE certified. I'm sure any good mechanic can do the work, it's not rocket science, but why not go to someone that knows how these cars go together? I've only used dealers for all my cars for over 20 years but at 130K miles that's making less sense. I may talk to the local Toyota guys but who knows if they know what they're doing. Thanks folks!

No worries, It's ok. I've wanted to combine some of the mechanic threads by region just haven't sifted through to combine the threads. That one was fairly recent with some additional options.
