Default SGV/LA Caravan to Lexus of Westminister Meet

To the guys and gals who may not want to roll on their own or would just prefer to be clustered together with other meet attendees en route to the Lexus of Westminister Meet, I'll be coordinating the caravan. The meet up location and schedule will be the following:

Location: Target Shopping Center
3600 Rosemead Blvd, Rosemead, CA 91770

**If you are entering from Rosemead in either direction, there will be a two-story parking structure EAST of Target. We will gather on the second story, as there tends to be more space and less issues with members getting lost.

Time: arrive anytime between 8-9:00AM

Departure Time: 9:15AM sharp

Route: I-10 East (4.5 mi) -- I-605 South (22 mi) -- I-405 South (5 mi; merger will be on the LEFT side) -- Westminister Ave Exit (1.5 mi)

**we will stagger ourselves along two or three lanes so that way, should anyone get stuck behind, they can quickly return to the caravan

Caravan attendees (CL name - name - year, color, and model):

1) bnizzle87 - Brian - 2008 Obsidian IS F
2) kzlflash - Kelvin - 2011 Obsidian ISF
3) Fsport14 - Max -2014 Obsidian IS250 F Sport
4) Pistachio - JP - 2006 Flint Mica GS430
5) chris07is-chris-2008 mercury IS F (maybe)
6) 2jzdc - Johnny - 2000 Lexus GS300
7) viperrx - Mike - 2012 NGP IS250 F Sport (I hope I wake up in time)
8) DblcheckIS -John - 2008 breakwater blue is250 (I'll try to make it)

Unless there's a caravan from or closer to Santa Clarita, count me in. Is this parking structure lowered car friendly or will some of us have issues with speed bumps / steep driveways?

The entrance way towards the upper level parking structure does have a few bumps at an incline, but due to the early time we'll be both arriving and departing, there should not be very many patrons. In other words, we're free to angle and take our sweet time getting over bumps or enter/exit. We do have quite a bit of lowered cars that attend these caravans, and almost always, everyone makes it through unscathed.

Looking forward to meeting you and checking out your ride!

No worries, Harry. There will be other meets, and with summer time approaching, there will be more opportunities to join in. See you at a future gathering!

I would say West LA to Westminister, as you'll have less freeways to merge onto and, thus, less cars and traffic to deal with. But if you do have the time and want to roll, I'd say join in on the caravan. My goal was to be as inclusive as possible because there will be some who don't want to roll by themselves because they're new or might get diverted to a different path, so making this caravan keeps everyone together and safely traveling so that each car is keeping an eye out for others as well. I've seen some SGV peeps wake up late and the meet location is literally minutes from their place, but that's why I try to set a fair departure time so that those who might've turnt up too much Saturday night or worked late have a good amount of time time recover.

Either way, I'll see you at the meet, so it's all good.

I signed up for the OC caravan that's meeting in Stanton. Wondering if this one is closer/shrter in total miles?

we should meet up with the OC for extended caravan, since they're close by at the westminister.

The OC caravan is mere minutes away from the Westminister meet location. Unfortunately for those who aren't that close by residing in LA or SGV areas, it's a bit more of a drive. But in doing so, everyone can gather together and not feel left out. The IS F guys know we'll be joining them at the meet itself.

That might work, but it would depend on when Kody wants to start departing from the Stanton location.

I'm going to have to pull out of this one and move over to the OC caravan. Just checked google maps and this one is further for me. Look forward to meeting all of you and seeing your cars.
