I used to live there at sfv(818) but i wouldnt recommend dealership to do urboil change, they charge arm and leg and specially u have an F. Ive always taken my car to tommy at el monte. Its a drive but i know what hes putting there, because i bring my own oil and oil filter. Gluck.

+1 on Tommy. He's a bit further than the OP's location, but certainly does the job right. And the insights gained from him can really help when doing other things to your car. Great service, very friendly, and a true Lexus enthusiast. Can't help but support!

i would check out lextech in silver lake, they aren't far from you. the owner is an ex master lexus tech and does great work. highly highly recommend. Ive been all over the valley and they are worth the drive, a lot closer than tommy as well. Rm automotive in northridge is pretty solid as well as precision z in change park. they are an all nissan z shop but have worked on my car a few time and are extremely methodical and won't give you your car til its absolutely perfect.

Yeah, he said he's been doing them for awhile. He doesn't charge a lot either. I was just over there to visit him and he asked if I had a place to change my oil. Normally, I would just do it myself, but if I'm having other things done, I might as well have him do it while it's up on his lift.

What! Thats interesting he has gallons and gallons of used oil in his shop. Well he recently just cleaned up. Thats weird...he did all my oil change when i used to have my IS 250, and he did my F about a month ago.

For a few months earlier this year, Tommy couldn't do oil changes for customers for unknown reasons. This was around early summer.

However, just a few weeks ago, he has been able to do oil changes for customers' cars (BYO motor oil + filter); I should know.

Tommy worked on my old ISx50, and he is still one of the very few people that I supremely trust working on my F now.
