Default TPMS sensors

Hi everyone, I am fairly new to posting on the forums

I have done quite a bit of research regarding the TPMS for my 07 gs350,

some threads say if i get after market sensors I need to reprogram them, others say the exact opposite. I also get the same type of feedback from tire shops around the LA area. some shops didn't event know what i was talking about!

since my TPMS sensors no longer work (according to the guy who took them off my wheels), I need to buy new ones. OEMs are really expensive. does anyone know/ have tried an aftermarket brand that I can purchase that will work. I currently have the old TPMS so i can potentially read the codes to the tire shop, also does anyone know which tire shop will be good for installation?

thanks for any help guys. sorry once again for the rookie questions!

U can get some dill aftermarket sensors for about 46+ tax. Any sensor you get will need to be programmed to your vehicle.. Your vehicle is not capable of programming itself. Even if you were to buy OE sensors they would still need to be reprogrammed and will be over priced. Im in SGV also. Ill send you my number so you can shoot me a text.
