Elite Service Center. They specialize in Lexus and are a great group of guys that do awesome work, for about half the price of what the dealer would charge. I've taken my Lexus to them a couple times and will not take it anywhere else (they're also one of the highest rated on Yelp). In Miramar, next to Auto Fashion.

La Mesa is east county. It's a nice area pretty much mellow. Since your new in town you have to try a 2-in1 burrito from Lolita's taco shop add cheese and sour cream. Just yelp them. Hit me up and we can grab a bite.
