Default Beware Lexus of Cerritos dealer when shopping new car there.

To all Lexus members,

Beware when shopping new Lexus at Lexus of Cerritos Dealer. I was shopping for new es300h for several days online. Finally, I got an deal agreement in email stated the car and all options and vin number I want from Lexus of Cerritos. The sale person told me to go there and purchase right away, so I drove there in 30 minutes. It is disappointment, they presented me the es350 instead the es300h that have been agreed. I do not take it, then she and her manager told us to wait, so they look for the car. After been waited for 45 minutes, they told me the car have been sold. They tried to sell me the es300h with same package that previous agreed in email, but with extra charge of $750. I am not sold, and left the dealer. So beware to shop online with Lexus of Cerritos, they did not honor their deal agreement even in written on email. Shop with other dealer instead.

Good Luck and have happy Thanksgiving.

Alan

Same crap happened to me when I was looking for my CPO LS. They called me informing me that they had one that I wanted. Not even an hr after I received the call that I went. Only for them to tell me they sold it.

Put up a negative review on Yelp.com. That should get their attention and everybody else's.

Don't worry bro, I feel the same way about CarMax in Irvine the sales rep seemed cool in the begining and just became completely careless in the end. He sold the car I wanted even after settling everything over the phone before I drove out about an 1hr 30mins to location.

Sinister, don't get mad get even! Do a negative review in Yelp.com on Carmax Irvine and mention the sales advisor (by name) for screwing you.

I did my fair share when they wanted feedback, The overall experience was not what I expected. The Salesman nor the Manager were helpful, and they did not want to transfer the car for to my local Carmax (along with another few things). They just wanted the sale or atleast thats what it felt like.
