I found a guy out here in the San Fernando Valley, I took my friends RSX and he re-stitched the drivers side seat and re-dye's both seats for 100 bucks. I called over 10 shops in our area and this guy had the cheapest quote by far

ask for Jorge, tell him Tommy the guy who brought in the silver rsx referred you.
I dropped off the car at 5pm and he had it ready by 12pm the next day.

Here are some photos of the finished product.
He did mention that he had to glue on some reinforcement material on the two sides of the tear in order to keep it from ripping again. He said that if he didn't reinforce it the tear would form again with in a couple of weeks/months.

I went to Sagona's Custom Upholstery to have my stock IS300 seat customized, he redid the lower cushion by lowering the center portion and raising the bolsters. He's located in Burbank, CA.

Seat is still holding up quite well after a few years of daily use.
