Just wondering, anyone around 626 or 40 miles within 626 that has an e46 m3 with SMG transmission?
Long story short, getting bored of only being able to mod my baby cosmetically and I do want something more fun and interesting to drive. My cousin has the z4m coupe, which has the same engine as the e46 m3 and it's an amazing piece of work.
I have done my share of research and know about the problems that come with the car, such as the subframe rear damage, SMG failure, alternator and radiator, etc
I'm just wondering if anyone is willing to meet up and let me check out your car. Just want to get the idea of how it feels inside and if you're nice enough, take me out for a small ride!
And if you have had experience, please share the good and the bad!

Stay away from the SMG..
Issues with mine.
@90k miles
-Ur gonna have nightmares with the Hydraulic pump, change then reprogram.. aint cheap..
-Front lower control arm bushings
-Rear shocks were shot
-AC compressor died

Overall a good car once everything is fix..

Well I'm sure a CL member will some what likely ask for the same thing if you wanted to drive their car, especially a car of that nature. But in your original post, you say take you around for a ride anyway.
