I highly suggest Palomar Mountain.

The road, in a word, is technical.

I'd think to break the car in and because of CHP. Nothing wrong with taking in the scenery

I'm down. Did some work to it and haven't got to test the product yet.Where do I sign up?

As you wish!

3.0 is still new. No need for plates, but I'll have materials just in case.

I used to like driving through Palos Verdes. With either my bike or car. Has a mix of twisties and view. Prob also because it was super close to me.

You should go UP the 39 to Crystal Lake. Get a tuna sandwich at the Café up there. Then go down.

I was already planning to go tomorrow.

I am up there just about every other Saturday morning. I just go REALLY early, like at sunrise. That way I beat the bicyclists--I like to drive pretty hard and I don't want to scare them.

There's one really straight section where cops like to wait at to catch speeders.

Another one I like to cruise through would be Santiago Canyon Rd from Irvine Lake area to around Foothill Ranch. Not that many turns and not much to really look at but a good road to just drive and clear your mind IMO. This one felt like a longer version of Carbon Canyon to me.

Julian is a nice little sleepy town that specializes in apples.

Apple pies specifically...

I was just there is past weekend. Drove 140+ miles for pie.

Did Angeles Crest this past Saturday (bnizzle87 even brought the F out!) and it's quite a nice drive indeed!

We had a nice lineup with us:

Overall really fun drive, and we had lunch at a place called Newcombs- Excellent pancakes and friendly staff

Definitely will go again!
