Not a hook-up but if you're lookin' to save money on a 24HR membership. Costco offer's a 24 Hour Fitness 2-year ALL-CLUB SPORT Membership Certificate that goes for $349.
That comes out to around $29 bucks a month and you don't have to pay any initiation fees or anything like that.

Oh and I should mention, the offer above only applies to the Club Sport and not the Ultra and Super Sport 24HRs.
I bought the same thing two years ago but it was going for $299 back then.

For the time being, Costco's $349 (as Seize posted earlier) is still the best bang for your buck. It used to be a little cheaper a few years back, but with the high demand from Costco members, it was easy to bump up the price and still have its members purchase it to get access to the gym. The best part is that you don't have to pay the initiation fee. It is an upfront purchase, which might seem bad at first, but I see it as an investment in yourself and you don't have to worry about paying every month. My only gripe is that the basketball court at any 24 in the 626/323 areas are always packed. But the rest of the gym is pretty accessible, especially if one has kids and needs an immediate babysitter while he or she gets a workout in.

If you want to try, you can try this coupon for 24-day trial for 24 hour fitness.
I already have a pass, but I sent it to my friend who tried this coupon and he has confirmed it works.
However it is YMMV, this coupon is from like 8 years ago, however there is no expiration date.
IMO LA Fitness is a better gym, but its just the fact that 24 hour is in fact 24 hour. (I work out late) So I decided to sign up with them using the costco deal.

Since its close to summer,
24 hour fitness
they should be having summer deals, which usually takes away initiation fees
If you want, you can do what I did before, I signed up, had membership for like a month at a rate of $30 a month (for sport), I called corporate office to cancel my membership, telling them "financially" I am unable to afford the amount
Usually, most companies always offers alternatives, 24 hours offered me a rate of $14 a month, which I told them I can "financially" do.
Haha, sort of lame, but hey cheaper membership =D

Also, yeah the costco deal is usually the best deal, of course its a commitment, and more money up front. overall I like 24 hours because its 24 hours, I prefer going late at night when its not busy, since most 24 hour fitness gets busy 6-9pm, when people get off work.
