stuck in anaheim.. in need of help!
Long story short, went to disneyland(we live near chico, ca) for a little family vacation, drove the car to SoCal and around SoCal, we left our hotel at 10ish this morning and were going over the over pass on harbor blvd about to get onto i5north, at the very top of the overpass my car died(accessories were still working), rolled down the overpass and went into the chevron. Tried starting the car and it turns over but wont idle(we have got it to idle 1or2 times but once i give it any gas it cuts out). Checked the wheel well harness, tried jumping the fuel pump relay, and checked anything and everything that we could think of, can't figure it out. If any body knows how to fix this issue or a shop that won't rape us and knows how to fix this issue please let me know. Mods I'm not sure if this is the right spot to post this in, sorry.

Hey, did you get taken care of? There was a shop on ball I went to when (almost) the exact same thing happened to me. Wish I could have been of some help earlier. Sorry.

Sorry about not posting the year and model(97' ls400) i was a bit frustrated. Lol. We got the problem take care of at Tashmo in Santa Ana, thanks to AYEmike for referring us to that shop. I had a coolant leak(thermostat housing) and it was dripping onto the timing belt, overtime the coolant was heating the belt up and the belt was starting to shred and it was building up on the crank timing gear causing the timing belt to skip 2 or 3 teeth. We got the timing belt, tensioner and the idler bearings replaced along with the crank seal(just cause). and we're on our way home. Thanks guys.
