Default anyone with experience installing GFX rear lip?

in 714 area code, wondering if anyone local who has installed gfx rear lip..
I should be getting it in a few weeks, anyone out there that could lend a hand?
not sure if I should do the drill method or just use the provided 3m by it self.

drill and 3m tape.

I know many many people who have only 3m'd the rear lip only and have it fall off.

Tommy@Musicbox is well recomended and has installed hundreds of them.

I'd recommend 3m. Unless u know you are gonna keep that lip permanently. Just oem tap held my lip for two years till it a section became degraded. I reattached wit 3m and i expected it to me better then oem.

Herm... Can I do it solo? If I decided to do it myself?
Drill method seems safer but... Once done that's it, ima have holes in my bumper ?

Yes u can do it itself. I used masking tape as guide. Yes u will have holes and can't undo those. Drill is obviously better. Just the OEM tape done me good for over 30k miles

Tape alone is fine, that way you can always remove it when you want. I would save the $80 and do it yourself, it's actually very easy if you are going the 3M route.

i did the 3m method and it last fine for over 2 years. when the day came for me to part out my car, it was still extremely difficult to take it off. if you have 2 people, it will make the process easier. wash the bumper and align the lip to where it will sit on the bumper. mark on your bumper the top of the lip with painters tape(to mark where the lip will be). wipe down the area where the lip will go with rubbing alcohol(you could claybar before hand too). spray the area where the lip will go on the bumper with adhesion promoter(you can buy it at autozone or walmart). let it tack up for a minute or so and then apply the lip to the bumper using standard 3m double sided tape removal/installation protocol
