You shouldn't have a problem getting them turned off at any dealer?
I haven't heard of a law in CA that requires them on cars.

Free or not is depend on dealership. most of dealership do it free if you in for some service. Some body got it done for free without any service. Good luck!

DRL = Daytime Running Lights
I have yet to find a dealership that would do it. The shop I go to, Lextech said that now it is law that they cannot modify it.

I just got my LS 600 serviced at Longo Lexus and they turned it off with no problems. They even type that in as a customer concern.. Aahaha. All I had done was an oil change but they help me out with like everything!! They are awesome!!

Ask for Jimmy Thach. That's who I always go to (and quite a few others do too). Tell him you are from Clublexus, he will take care of you!

It's done via computer.
It's so simple to do via the computer, but requires a Toyota Techstream cable and the software. The latter is very expensive.

I can turn off DRLs and I'm in West Covina. Hit me up if anyone wants to stop by and turn them off. Takes about 5 minutes.
