Possibly the best Haunted House EVER!!!! Blackout Los Angeles!!!
Ok here's the deal, October is my favorite month and I live for the haunted houses, mazes, and "sinisterness" of this month. I have been going to Knotts Scary Farm every year since I was 12, im 31 now, and have never missed a year, it's hands down my favorite!!!. I've done everything here in SoCal such as Universal Halloween Horror Nights, Six Flags Fright Fest (crap), Queen Mary Dark Harbor, Haunted Hay Ride... you get the point. Yes I understand "It's not scary" but its fun, and it's about the actors (monsters) getting into character and creating the haunted/terror atmosphere. Now for all you "its lame" "its stupid" "its not scary" people and for all the die hard haunt fanatics, I am throwing this on the table... Los Angeles and New York City only has...

Possibly the best haunted house and/or halloween event ever. Heres the low down...
Rules
1. YOU MUST WALK THROUGH ALONE.
2. You must be over 18.
3. Stay on the marked path at all times.
4. You will be prompted to do certain actions. Please do exactly as you’re told. This is for your safety.
5. There is absolutely no speaking allowed inside. You can, however, scream as loud as you’d like.
6. Do not ever touch the actors.
7. Do not ever touch the walls.
8. You must wear a protective mask and carry a flashlight at all times. (We will provide both of these items for you. Please do not bring your own.)
9. If you have an emergency while walking through the house and need to be escorted out, please yell the word “SAFETY” as loud as you can. Stay where you are, remain calm, and someone will come to get you and bring you out. Once you call “SAFETY”, there are no refunds and there are no options but to leave.
Please be aware, you will encounter:
FOG – STROBE LIGHTS – COMPLETE DARKNESS
CRAWLING – STAIRS – LOUD NOISES – WATER
PHYSICAL CONTACT – SEXUAL and VIOLENT SITUATIONS
All patrons are required to read the rules and sign the waiver before entering. This is not optional. If there are any rules that you do not follow, you will be asked to leave and there are no refunds.
Unfortunately, this years haunted house is NOT handicap accessible.
Blackout Haunted House reserves the right to deny admission to any person for any reason at any time.

Has anyone ever been to it??? What do you think they will do when they "touch" you??? What can they get away with??? There are so many unknowns!!! Also what have your favorite SoCal halloween traditions been????

What year did you go to Knotts?? It has definitely seen its up and downs! this year is the 40th anniversary, we are going on the 20th. Should be a good year.
If they blindfold you and touch you in Blackout which it says they will do, then it definitely has the potential to be terrorizing!

Knotts Scary Farm is probably the most amusing at 11-20 years of age. Great as a teen with a bunch of easily startled girls or maybe even older females if they are cute in reacting that way. 
I don't find testing my blood pressure that way to be healthful. 
The most excitement I can handle these days is a drop on undetermined fluid under the car.

if u want real ghosts or spirits, Hike at nite on Blackstar mountain , not only u will see real ghosts and spirits but bullets flying by pass you lolz.
