It's kind of far from you but you can try Phil's Auto in El Monte. Give them a call (626) 582-1648

I would think you need to visit the dealer to get this reprogrammed.

which dealership? pricing? (Just so I can match what they are asking with what others are paying instead of getting ripped off heh)

To clarify, this is reprogramming a previously programmed key, right? May I contact your friend through you too? PM?

Thanks!

I am in the same boat and found a locksmith through http://www.aloa.org. Cost to reprogram is $70. However, he wasn't able to reprogram my used key (eBay refurbished) and stated that 1 in 3 used keys fail to be reprogrammed.

So I returned the used key and bought a new one from Sewell. Going back to the same guy.

Good luck!

Please pm with info! I have a second key sitting here but I'd like to find a good deal to get it reprogrammed.

I've been a member here for a while, and I've been on other forums as well - my.is since 2005 or something like that (sn: thedarcsage)

I've searched this forum and this is the most recent thread, so I'm still looking - thanks!
