why does it matter so much if it's free after all? you get a free exhaust with free installation. looks decent and your car will sound better than when it was stock, that's for sure.

Depends on how you see it. There are some negatives i can think of right off the bat....
Probably made of crappy welds and thin metal = might need repair down the line to fix leaks or damage ($$), not CARB legal (matters for some) and lastly, letting someone work on your car who you don't know. Especially since It's not even some big company like HKS or Eibach...

Honestly, i wouldn't complain since it's free. So what if it has crappy welds, if it eventually craps out just reinstall your OEM axle-back, unless you don't like to wrench on your own cars. Shoot pay me $40 and i'll reinstall your OEM exhaust (just bring it to my place in San Gabriel).

Daniel you cud probably make some $$$ doing exhaust installs on the weekends for $40.

I know a good number of people at the meets that would have paid you

+1. Exactly my point. Plus you could even resell it for money if you wanted to. Its really a win win situation. Got crappy welds? Reweld it, cheap fix. Im pretty sure any exhaust company is capable of installing exhausts otherwise they wouldnt tell you theres free installation. Its simply a few bolts and unhooking it from the hangers. I dont own a 2is but i helped my buddy put his axleback on for him, easy.

Now if they had a free ls400 exhaust, you know it'd probably be already gone already but they dont /:.

Think of it as another clone of the Tanabe exhaust - although I haven't heard how this one sounds.

Craigslist is great. Here's someone who's selling their stock exhaust for $300 and stating that Lexus of Glendale sells them new for $1600. http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac...947014788.html
