Default 08 GS350 white/blk fully loaded good price?

Hey, I've asked this question on the 3GS forums but I wanted to ask a regional specific cause I know that plays a part in pricing too. I am about to pay 29,000 for the following and them writing down the tax, altogether 30k OTD Private Party. You guys think it is a good deal? Thanks for all the help.

2008 Starfire Pearl w/ Black Interior GS350 36,000 Miles.
ALL services done, checked via mylexus. fully loaded. extras include the chrome rims, illuminated door sills.

I think you should be paying a little less for a private sale. I was looking at GS350's around nov/dec and i was finding them at dealerships for around $29-31k with low miles and fully loaded. I'm sure you can negotiate it down to 27.5k to 28k at least?

i know this is a little off topic, but how do you pay 29K for a car and pay 30k OTD?

Im not quite sure what a use tax is, but when I bought my car from a private party I only paid one type of tax; and thats the sales tax to the DMV. Its quite common practice (and a great perk) for this kind of thing to happen in a private sale, but since I don't think CL condones this, I will just take your sale as 30k OTD.

I think your deal is a good deal. It isn't excellent, but its good. If your happy with the car, I would take the deal. Its quite hard to find that color combo for sale. You will never get 30k OTD at a dealership, but you can probably get a little lower if your willing to go with a different color.

very true. the deal is not GREAT but its good is what a lot of people are saying considering the condition of the car and how well it has been taken care of. thanks for all your input.

As long as everything else checks out and you're happy with the price, take it

I think you are ball park. Consider the time it will take to find the option/combo's you want and this one showing up as it did may get you into it right away. Otherwise having to search over the next few months and or having to drive or fly to inspect. That said, if it checks out, buy it.
