Default Driving to Vegas?

Anyone have experience driving to Vegas on a dropped car with small profile tires? I might have to haul my car to Vegas for a trip soon and was wondering who has done it before. I wanted to get some feedback. Thanks!

I've never driven to Vegas before but I had a slammed WRX, I went on a 1000 mile trip in it and I just went slower since I was unfamiliar with the highway conditions and I went extra slow on bridges on the highway. You just have to be extra careful and watch out for any bumps, debris, or anything that will destroy your undercarriage especially since youre not gonna be in a familiar area.

You should be fine on the way to Vegas, the roads are pretty good all the way up. There's a couple patches here and there where you might have to be careful, but for the most part you shouldn't have any issues. If you drive around SoCal, you'll have no issues going to Vegas. When your IN Vegas be careful though, there's a bunch of terrible roads and crazy driveways in the actually city. lol

Tape up your front bumper with painters tape to avoid chips and stuff.

Unless you're hauling *** down there you should be fine

I've done it quite a few times. Low profile tires 20" rims and pretty low. Not an issue. Plus whenever I get to vegas I just park it at the hotel anyway since i'm usually drinking and just take cabs everywhere.

Thanks for all the input. I'm just worried about driving there and back. I'm planning to walk around the strip and taking the cab around Vegas and leaving my car at the hotel.

Might consider a rental then, at least you can drive and not worry about some of the road conditions. 70 series rubber will certainly make for a smooth ride.

Yeah I was thinking about that. I'm currently riding on 245/30/20 and 285/25/20.

The 3M Painters tape doesn't leave anything behind that doesn't come off with just a wipe of a damp rag. I've seen people saying that the cheaper brand tapes do leave some residue on though that require some extra elbow grease to remove.
