What's up with Simple Wheel Werks?!!

wow, back in june???
if i dropped off a set of vs-xx, i'd check up on em at least every 2 days, if not more frequently.
i had a set of gt-s faces done by them last year... turn around time was about 2 weeks.
paolo is a stand up guy and won't steal from you.
if you dropped em off about half a year ago, never got a receipt, and didn't check up on em, then you may be sol...

This sounds so shady. If they moved, they should have notified their current customers who they have to finish a job for. I really hope they get back to you. Those are some really nice and expensive rims to lose.

It's true Paulo did get a minor stroke along with other health complications.
I had my Work Emotions patched from curb rash and powdercoated.
In July, they said around 1 week, but they got held up and took about 2 weeks,
they gave me a little discount for that.
They're really chill and down to earth people and they're not like those shops
that have set rules and regulations and carbons copies, but they will
let you know everything before hand and still hand you a receipt.
Last Thursday I dropped off a set of VMRs that I needed redrilled and powdercoated,
I was going to go with the gold face w/ lip but Virginia kind of persuaded me otherwise,
it was done this Tuesday!
They did an ok job on the redrilling, but I'm not sure if any other company can do a better job, since redrilling is always kind of ..
Regardless, they're still a very good place to go to and you just have to call/text a couple of hours at least (maybe a day) beforehand.
I hope everything turned out well for you NSGxLex!

Glad to hear Paulo's health is ok.... Paulo and Virginia are one of nicest people I've dealt with in personally and business aspects. Then again, I have not seen nor spoke to them for quite awhile so not sure they're still in business or not.
ONLY negative things are (1) they move alot and (2) no immediate return phone calls
GL to you and hope get your wheels back....

Anyone know how to get in contact with them? They have had my wheel for over 6 months and they won't answer or return my calls. Ive stopped by there a few times this month with no luck. I don't care if the wheel is fixed or not, just want it back. If I lived closer I would be there every day waiting.
