A guy at work goes up to Ventura Pier every weekend......He goes Friday night until the cops kick him out....Catching crabs with his crab traps........Cops kick people out because of the unlawful partying that goes on at night.....

i know where to fish, just seeing if anyone else fishes. i think it's rare for people to like car and fishing. lol

ventura too far from me.

im surprised you said pier, deep sea and freshwater. i fish it all. if there's a puddle of water with fish in it, ill be there.

^^^^ for a second I thought those were crawfish. I go to castaic lake but it sucks if you don't have a boat. Deep sea fishing is the best but I haven't done that in over a decade. I'm hoping to do a 3/4 day fishing trip next summer.

I go fishing at least 2 times in the summer. I wish i could do it more but its a big expensive since i usually go on deep sea fishing adventures to Baja but its always great! I think im done for the year but next year u can tag along with me and my buddies (usually 3-5 of us)

I would recommend the beaches I go to with my dad but they are a little farther than Ventura... Great shore fishing though.

i fish sometimes, at the newport pier lol mackorals all day haha
its only fun with some beverages haha keeps you warm on the cold windy nights.

never been to castaic. but theres good bass fishing there.

i never catch anything at seal. i usually go at night though. i think fresh crab taste better then lobster. lobster is over rated.

i cant afford baja. too expensive. you guys stay out for a week or two right? read stories about it, great stuff in baja they always put you on the best fish.

i do some surf fishing too. only when its warmer though, too cold to stand in to water. been hoping for a halibut but only perch and croaker.

hahah i know what you mean. i recently found out they close the pier at midnight now. sucks
