Southern California Leather Restoration
I really want to restore my leather seats. They're wearing away at a pretty fast rate.
I got a quote from FibreNew, and it's WAY out of my budget.
Does anyone know of a place that can restore and dye the interior seats of your car for a really good price?
If not, does anyone know how to do the job yourself, like a DIY kinda thing?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks, but Clazzio seat covers are for only Lexus GS and SC models. Plus, it's too much.
I own a '90 LS400. I'm thinking of this, but not sure if anyone has tried it before:

clazzio is available for the LS, you just need to contact them as they have them in their JDM catalog. But Clazzio are seatCOVERS, not seats. they fit OVER the stock leather.
yelp and google will help you find places that do dying. better of looking for home furniture repair/refurb places

A part of me just wants to restore the seats myself based off that DIY that I read at ehow.com.
SEM Classic Coat Leather Dye
Thompson's Waterseal Sport Seal
SEM Leather Prep
240-Grit Sandpaper
Denatured Alcohol
Terry Cloth
Soap and Bucket
Throw in a little elbow grease, and I'll be able to do this myself, and a tenth of the cost that Fibrenew was quoting me. How much were they quoting me?
$1,335.
The supplies to do it myself should be way under $150, probably even under $100.
I think Clazzio's will still run me some $500+, right?
