i remember leaving it in "1" a hair too long; that's why you hear my engine bouncing off the rev limiter in that run.
I got my best time of 10.2 seconds on this run! (Auto/trac on/no launch/AC on full blast/lots of junk in the trunk

^ Yes you were. Turning off your AC is part of the Toyota Speedway Rules & Regulations that you were required to read prior to dragging your car. "Air Conditioners: Please turn off air conditioners prior to your arrival in the water box."

it had to be off prior to staging. otherwise the condensation would end up as a puddle on the track.
granted, it meant that the racers had to brave sweltering heat to race, but imho it's a verysmall price to pay for so many free runs.
actually, yes, you were told that; the track boss announced it in the driver's meeting.

It honestly slipped my mind, .... I am a noob, first time drag racing.... My bad!!! Thanks for forgiving me Jason!
Josh - ill post my vids tonight that was recorded with my gopro. Me vs IS350 and me vs GTR
On a side note - on caltrain right now and the damn AC is broken. lol.

Its all good. I knew I'd be looked down upon initially at the drag but it was all for fun/good times with my friends. No one ever expects a Camry to do so well. Perfect sleepers, especially the V6 model
I'll buy a pair of proper rims with good tires to swap out if I do that. Stretched isn't doing it for me as PureDrifter warned me 8 hours prior to the event lol
