I know some of the guys in SD may still be out of power. Schools are out, and no one is at the office at work today. It took nearly 2 hours to get home for yesterday, and others were stranded at the gas station out of gas with no gas to pump

So, who else got stuck in carmaggeddon yesterday?

Nice title, carmaggeddon! LOL! I live right next to CA-56 via Rancho Penasquitos Blvd, and I could see the traffic from home! I also was nearly a victim of no gas at the gas station. I went out for a back to school night of my daughter, not knowing its cancelled of course, then decided to get gas when we found out what's going on, and couldn't find one, and just before the needle hit the E on reserve, we decided to head back home and call it a day.

Good thing is I have a grille at home, laptops fully charged and the weather was actually pretty cool last night. So I was able to cook rice (I'm a Filipino), heated up left overs, played Rio the movie from my downloads for my daughter, and everyone's happy, in the dark...

And oh yeah, it was my wife's birthday yesterday! LOL!

Lol...took me like 40 min to get from sdsu to my pad (about 3.5 miles). Then threw a black out pool party and drank till power came back on!

My friends went biking from OC to SD and was planning on taking the amtrak back home. Unfortunately the power went out and I had to drive and pick them up haha

i also got stuck in the black out lesson leard never leave your car on empty ha was supposed to fly out to VEGAS and ended up driving to temecula on e before i could fill up.

i just hope this doesnt happen again... i think they expected a loss over a 100+ million, but its honestly scary as hell seeing cars fly thru intersections of dead stoplights
