Work has really fallen and im gonna get laid off, anyone know a shop in the 310 area looking for an R&R, diagnoser or apprentice? I can do various kinds of work and i am want to get into tuning and modifing, so a tuning shop would be awesome but i know beggers cant be choosers so anything will do. the shops around me are also empty. so can you guys help me out? it feels crappy to have your own pops tell you not enough work, so please help me out.

Me and my dad own a place. he was gonna let go of the other guy but i told him not to and that he needs the money more then me, i dont have a family to feed. so now im looking for another place to work at. opening another place is kind of difficult for a 20 year old with no credit history.

don't forget to check newspaper ads too...a lot of shops have no idea how to use the internet lol

Also... just do walk ins. Make sure to bring a resume with you. Do a search of car shops around you and in areas that you may want to work in.

you could come to any empleyee agentcy to look for temp job. During that time, you could look for another opening job that you like and apply for it. By doing that, you didn't lost any working time and make money while waiting for a better job
