SC300 or SC400? I think it will be harder to find someone willing to help on a 400.

Now why would you need another person's help? This job is pretty darn easy Haven't another person probably wouldn't help as much since there is only enough room for one person.

You need extensions and universal joints to remove the starter bolts to make your job a lot easier

Yes, so I've heard. I have no tools because someone broke into my old garage and stole my tools and my computer stuff.

Today my starter started acting up and I fear it needs to be fixed VERY SOON. No one else wants or needs to do starter contacts? Let's have a gathering and fix this as a group! I'm ordering my contacts tomorrow. so...BUMP!

The only problem you'll have is the top bolt(s). There is very little room to work with. You'll definitely need LONG extensions and a u-joint, and some muscle. Once you have the 3 bolts removed, the starter comes right off. When you see the starter, it's pretty self explanatory...I hope..

I'm going to give it a go borrowing tools from my neighbor.

The starter crapped out on me last night so I need to do this!

If I fail, I will come back to post again and someone can help me LOL
