Home Depot, Costco, or even OSH should have them. On a side note, depending on where you live, check with residential laws. We placed a canopy in our front driveway, and local PD told us to take it down immediately. Something about an ordinance and not being connected to the dwelling. We were renovating our garage at the time and needed a spot for my car. They said the max it can be there temporarily was three days, or pretty much a weekend. I still think it's a dumb rule, but it's their city- we just live in it.

I know! That's exactly what we told the city inspector when he visited the house. He was set to write us up with a failure to comply with housing regulation ticket, so we just didn't bother with it. I'll say this- at least he's consistent, as I've seen it happen to my neighbors and those in the nearby streets. But, what a *****!

@SW2UZ- That didn't even come to mind at the time, but I can see your perspective. It was just a hassle that really shouldn't have been.

he has to do something to keep him looking busy or else they'll fire him so he chooses to pick on residentials..

my dad does deliverys and in front of our house we have this huge dead end culdesac where he parks his truck and they told him he had to move it. it doesnt fit in the driveway and no1 goes through the culdesac and we are the only house within like 3 houses apart

The lower priced canopies are not always the best. I would look for one that has some sort of guarantee as some of them are not made to last for that long. I wouldnt be surprised if the cheap canopies lasted < 3 months. just my .02.
